Agreed to the T! (hey wait a minute, there are no Ts in agree :-/)

BTW one more Banshee question, how can I over clock the board?

Thanks,
Sun Tzu

Just got back from the Mall and what I saw gave me huge confidence that 3dfx will be huge this Christmas. In the Software Etc. store the 3dfx brand was very prominent on both games and boards. The TNT boards were also there but there was no attachment of TNT with any games. On the other hand, the connection between 3dfx and the best games was very noticeable.

The 3dfx boards in stock included the STB black magic Voodoo2, the Creative Voodoo2 and the Creative Fusion (Banshee). There were even some Voodoo1 boards. If I was a non-techno savy parent looking to buy some graphics board and 3D games for my kid (because that was what the child wants for Christmas) I would be very inclined to go with 3dfx. Why? Because 3dfx delivers the entire gaming solution whereas TNT doesn't - at least in a marketing sense.

By the way, my local Wal-Mart is carrying the Creative Voodoo2 board (8 and 12 MB choices).

Lastly, my interpretation of the Diamond press release indicates that the softness 3dfx experienced in Q3 was a temporary oversupply situation. I expect 3dfx will have a very strong Q4 and Q1.
