Gunther,

The only problem is that all the wireless stuff is not working so great yet. If it were all the refugees in Bosnia and Kosovo could
take their PCS phones to the mountains with them. The same goes for the natives in Guatemala. ;-)

Cheers, Seppo

Gunther,
why go after these markets ? Margins and little competition. Looks like a good niche to me. If you look at some of the info that has been posted on cost of country to country calls, the first FNET/FTEL are going after are some of the highest. That means more room for profit.....not a bad place to prove your technology either, if you can make $$$$ in underdeveloped, infrastructure-lacking countries.

But you also have overlooked larger countries, including the UK where we're doing business.

I basically agree that your frustrations are shared by the market. That's why you can pick up this company for about $.60. The so-called "Pollyanna's" you refer to see the potential of this company making $7-10m in revenue this year. Maybe optimistic, maybe not. But I don't think the market is being rational at this point about FTEL because of its past mistakes, present tax selling pressure, and irrational markets in general. cm

Gunther,
Yes we are among the dumbest by going into Bosnia..<Why the hell did FTEL have to ramp up in such a wasteland?> Ericsson is even dumber than we are. Five weeks after we spent $150k to to buy an up and running network there, that stupid company committed $59million to build one. Their press release included the following, "The need for telecom is enormous in this country..." Guess a company of 100,000 employees can be as dumb as we are. Misery must Truly Love company. Or at least the misery of the Bosnian people will love the companies who provide jobs while returning the basics of modern civilization.

Gunter, thanks for having the balls to come out and say what a lot of us have felt for a long time. HYPE HYPE....MORE OF IT all the time.
And what is the price? I needn't post that as we all know...
And where is the price going? Probably down to '2 bits' and then someone will post that this is a great buying opp.

ALL BS my friends...this is a LOSER and sorry I stuck around listening to the HYPE and hoping someone knew what was going on for sure.

I am OUT (on paper) well over 20K and blame myself for it, no one else. I have written this puppy off so far as $$$$ go and won't miss a meal because of the loss. But,I feel sorry for those who aren't as fortunate as myself in that respect. May they fair well no matter what the price goes to before they all cash in.
Me? As I said I have written it all OFF as a bad investment and rather than sell now, I'll die before that and will leave it all to my granddaughter....maybe in 10 years it will be worth $2.00.
Have a good day...

Bill
