Pierre-X,

Well if your in a "shorting" mood, maybe KMAG and SYQT are still candidates.

SYQT was out trying to get money the past few months and as of last week came back from the well with an empty bucket.

I think their only savior would have been the USB SparQ for the iMac but that is looking questionable for November now. I don't know if they can hold on long enough to get it into the retail channels in time to make any difference.

KMAG is hanging on by a thread. There were rumors of talks between them and HMT but seems to have cooled down. All KMAG would bring to HMT would be more capacity but not any technology. And who needs capacity.

IVAC is, IMO, another candidate for a hit by the shorters. This will be a rough quarter for them and December will likely be worse.

Sooo Pierre-X give it your best shot!

Regards,
LT

PX;

<<Damn, why didn't we short this sucker?

I know why I didn't. There was too much talk of a potential sale.All and pieces of it were rumored to be close to a sale. I just heard that Seagate was going to buy their substrate operation last week. Before that the rumor was that MaxMedia would buy it. Things mustve crumbled in a hurry. Now they can be bought at the asset sale.

Best,
Stitch
