Initially, AMD will pooh-pooh the KNI, just like they pooh-poohed the SLot 1 architecture - until they realized the technical merits of the concept and went head long into the K7/Slot A development. Now, we will see how long AMD blows the 3DNOW trumpet while the rest of the industry adopts (?? I hope !) the Katmai New Instruction set. Paul
