Hi Browser- Well for a newbie option trader I had a good week ! AMZN OCT 80 put in 6 1/8 out at 9 AOL OCT 85 Put in 1 1/2 out at 7 CSCO Nov 50 call in 3 1/8 out at 5 1 /4 I started my option venture about 2 months ago with 10k and after several frustrating misses and near misses and losses the value of had dwindled to about $3500 at the beginning of the week but at close today I now have just over $6500 in cash ready for monday plus still hold 7 NOV 55 CSCO calls in at 3 1/4 and feeling good holding them with CSCO now at 50. Unfortunately even with such a good week I still need a little more to get back to even! Its been a fun but nervy couple months. I certainly wouldn't recommend options trading for the faint of heart ! Jeff

AUD is a beautiful long: timely.com ... if you want to go long in this market... AUDKM Nov98 AUD 65C tscn.com With AUD at $69, AUDKM is $4 in the money. Therefore, AUDKM @ $8.875 has $4.875 time premium and only 6 weeks to expiration. Implied volatility is 70.88. WAY too high. If volatility imploded to zero (not likely, but the extreme risk), AUD could (conceivably) go to $73.875 and AUDKM would not have to change one cent. Not a good buy in my opinion.
