I've been wondering about that. Do you have any idea when
this starts? I suspect not until November. But maybe
it varies from year to year depending on how the market
has been doing for the year in question.

Wouldn't you think that all those sellers these past couple weeks would have taken tax losses into consideration when they chose which stocks to sell? I'm thinking the typical "tax loss selling" will be a non-event.
