Pravin,

The Cayenne core is just an FPU, the MXi retains the MII's integer unit and of course has the added graphics and North-Bridge functions.

Retail Preprints

Sub-$1,000 systems made a comeback this week with five systems
advertised at after-rebate prices below $1,000. Packard Bell dug the
deepest, with Best Buy offering the 300MHz Cyrix MII-based model 820
system bundled with a 15-inch monitor, Lexmark Colorjet 1100 printer
and Umax Astra 610P scanner for $899.99 after rebate. At Circuit City,
the same system was bundled with a 14-inch monitor and the same
Colorjet printer at an after rebate price of $799. OfficeMax advertised a
similarly configured Packard Bell 830 with twice as much RAM, a slightly
larger hard drive and a 15-inch monitor at $999 after rebate. Celeron
processors were not featured in any of the national ads while the remaining
systems were approximately evenly divided between Cyrix, AMD and
Intel-based systems. The ad circulars also featured several new HP
printers including the DeskJet 712 at $249.99 and the DeskJet 697 at
$179.99.
