Right! The banks and brokerage houses were all screaming about how great Russia was earlier this year - JPM went to $150. Then it the crash and now, after the crash, they say it is a bad idea to invest in Russia. Duuhhh. JPM lost half its value.

daaan. Re: "ML is still working a short and trying to pick up cheap shares." You may be right. OTOH, they may be all looking at their profit sharing shares. ML is down 42% from its high of 109. Maybe they want all of us to feel their pain. :)
