OT Gary, I think that CPQ should have had enough time to digest the DEC acquisition by now so I think that the numbers will be good this time. I will take a look on Bloomberg for the expected numbers and probably play a very short term call on this.

This response is late (I try to take weekends off) I was talking in general terms when I referred to "negative postings." I didn't mean to imply that your's would fit in that category. I think it has more of a compounding effect. Some investors read a number of groundless attacks/comments and end up in "defensive mode." Then someone comes along and asks a legitimate question or shares a concern and the person reacts because of the earlier posts (and the fact they're portfolio is getting hammered.) As for CPQ, I'm sure it will eventually reward its investors. I just decided it probably wasn't going to grow as fast as Dell through the rest of 1998 (this was around July.) Good luck to you..and everyone else this week. Let's hope we don't need it. T.R.
