Well, interesting discussion, if a bit Off Topic...<gg> Who Me, I think you may be confusing two separate categories -- sexual perversion and sexual immorality. The term "sexual perversion" is falling into disuse these days, but when it is used, it generally describes sexual activity displaced from what would be its normal object (another human being): fetishism, for example, or bestiality, or voyeurism. Sado-masochism would be another form of perversion, in that the jollies are obtained primarily through the pain, rather than through the sex act itself. The term "sexual immorality" is also falling into disuse, as you know. But when it is used, it is generally applied to 1) total promiscuity (as in prostitution); 2) sex between two single people; 3) sex between two people, one or both of whom are married to someone else (adultery). Thus, I would hazard 90% of Americans have been guilty of sexual immorality at some point in their lives, although their sexual activity, for the most part, was probably "normal" (i.e., not "perverted"). Conclusion: Bill Clinton may be immoral, but he is not a pervert. :-) jbe
