If large orders were taken at the AHIMA show by Lanier, I would expect them to comment on same if the orders represented a material event for that company. Once the cookie cutter starts pumping these out the cash register doesn't stop ringing. Their Cquence line has a great name logo, for consequence as well as sequential (continuum), which is what medical documentation is all about i.e. process and outcome. The ability to integrate NCI's hand portable into sequential operations in health care is a unique piece of the puzzle for this industry. AHIMA had close to 2000 attendees, and I would guess that most looked carefully at this booth and our product. In comparison to the Medical Industry, the Legal Industry will be much easier in which to create and sell products. I believe most would agree that the largest unit sales will more likely eventually come from Internet related devices as well as Music players. In terms of functionality, the Lanier device will probably be the most complex for the next 12-18 months. This suggests that products for Intel and others will be much quicker from drawing board to store shelves or Internet web sites for E-commerce point of sale. Jim, NCI appears to be creating new business partners, alliances and opportunities. Obtaining and completing the Lanier contract took much longer than usual for the high tech industry. Intel is known for its rapid ramp-ups once a decision is made. Once Intel gets their requested product there will be no long delays, if it's accepted. We're on a whole new page in this co's. history and for a change, the right one. Best to all:
