It seems to me that the warrants move in advance of news...

I had considered that possibility but it would have to be earth shattering news, and even that in todays market may not move the stock. If someone did have advanced news, they would have a safer bet with the stock at 1.50 than warrants at .50. Stock is at or near a low, while warrants purchased at .50 could easily settle back to .25. If I had a major news tip, I'd rather risk paying the 1.50 for the stock. It looks like a no-brainer.
