Interesting - NDB holds me to 1/2 before closing. They don't confirm on funds till 24 hours and not being sure of their timing I have not pushed them to the limit.

BTW, CNNfn has an interesting read on what today's action might mean. Overall they and others lean to a bad next week for the market but who can plan how expirations will go?

Mosko, you can buy/sell BEARX in Schwab right up to 4pmEastern; at least I have been able to recently. This is an advantage, as you indicate. On last Thursday, I watched the sell off to DOW support at about 7400, and then the rally to close. Decided to sell my position in BEARX, thinking that a rally into expiry week might occur. Was able to capture my 21% profit with this approx. two week hold.
Then started buying back in on Friday at close and again Monday.
This fund is a trading vehicle in a Bear Market/ now big question is when Dow support at 7400 is touched again(soon!) whether to sell and take short term profit or bet on further declines.
Maybe next drop I'll sell 1/2 and hold 1/2, as my gut tells me we are soon approaching a capitulation selloff, and BEARX profit could be significant, and very rapid.
JMHO
Good luck to all BEARXers
