Hi Folks,
Back from Colorado Springs and here is what I found out about BANY. Some of the information has previously posted. I'm just writing from the notes I took during visit. I meet with Cameron on Friday 10/02/98 at AMGV's Shareholder meeting and set up an appointment to visit with him on Tuesday. AMGV sells the Double Case product on their web site www.availpc.com/ . Meet with him from 9am till 11am. Bany has 9 million shares outstanding. Management holds 3.5 million shares with 200,000 shares for employee options. 4.5 million shares are restricted. 4.5 million are the float. Cameron definition of float is any shares held by the street or non-insiders. There are 187,000 preferred shares @ 2.75 held by 20 shareholders. No private placement share program is in effect at this time. There are 300,000 warrants issued to Sitra at $.40 and $1.20. Anything Internet has 100,000 warrants at $.50, $1.00 and $2.00. These numbers add up to more than 9 million shares. I broke down the shares into specific areas to show what is out there and what type. Cameron wants to keep the OS at the 9 million level and feels there isn't any reason to increase the OS. With Anything Internet he and Sintra are on their BOD. He believes we'll see the IPO in December. For every 45 shares of Bany owned you will receive 1 share of Anything Internet. He has figured the cost out to be $.05 for each share of Anything Internet to BANY. So if ANything Internet opens at $6.00 you would realize a $5.95 dividend for each share of Anything Internet. Sounds good to me :)
Cameron will be on the road quite a bit these next couple of weeks. He has the largest trade show of the year in Las Vegas called COMDEX. A week long trade show where everybody attends and displays their products. Previous shows have been very positive for BANY. He also will be spending time in California and New York training Ingram staff about the Double Case. This will enable all of Ingrams staff the ability to get first hand information concerning the Double Case. Spiff programs will be explained to the Ingram staff. Additional literature will be presented to the staff as well as hands on training with all the Double Cases. IMO after these training sessions Ingram sales of the Double Case should increase considerably. Cameron is developing a similar program with Dell and we should see results shortly.
Concerning Dell sales, the US Goverment is their #1 client then comes Boeing.
He showed me the production area and explained he now only needs to order 150 cases instead of the previous number of 2000 cases. This has lowered his capital outlay considerably. This is a positive situation. Gross margins are 55% with the Double Case. He is currently developing a more acceptable design for females in a Double Case. This should be available shortly. He also showed me a Double Case design that can be manufactured that will change the current concept of a laptop carrying case. All parts come from North Carolina area for the Double Case. Another positive as it is all made in the USA.
He believes we'll see 1996 results within 2 weeks and 1997 soon after. BANY will then become a fully reporting stock. Cameron said 4th quarter should show a profit and 1999 will be a profitable year. Proceeds from Anthing Internet IPO will help BANY considerably.
Cameron feels Anything Internet is going to be a excellent investment for BANY. They are developing a large base of ISP's to display their wares and banner adds to increase sales and income. Within 90 days revenue could be $600,000.00 for Anything Internet according to Cameron.
In talking to Cameron he has achieved quite a bit in a short time in business world. At one time he was a successful stock broker. He has turned around a couple of down and out businesses into very successful operations. He has developed the avenues for several companies to achieve financing through investors. He has formulated a plan for a sales force to market produccts throughout the USA. He has developed the means to bring to the market place the ideas brought forth through productive development. All this before he took on BANY. He has the experience and knowledge to lead BANY and Anything Internet into a profitable future IMO.
I saw no negatives in my visit to BANY at all.
