1. Low priced Stock Survey has 8,600 paid subscribers ($129/yr). Editor is Randy Roeing. Phone #: 219-852-3210. It is a subsidiary of Dow Theory Forecasts, a very respected market letter published by Richard Carlson. Roeing has had a pretty good handle on the market in general (e.g., been cautious since appxly. May). Very accessible guy. You can probably get a free sample copy by calling. If you do call, I suggest speaking directly to Roeing and complimenting him for showing the good judgement to recommend ECD.

2. The readership is probably mostly individual investors. I don't think retail sales or purchases of ECD are what will move it.

3. I think they started covering ECD in the March 1998 time frame.

4. You'd have to make your own determination about the value of subscribing. He follows about 50 small cap companies. ECD gets a blurb about once every four issues. Analysis of the company's condition and prospects is much stronger on this list than any where else I know of.
