The old FPM is used on servers that do not change designs as fast as the mainstream pc market, so there are still many servers out there using this product. Many companies are phasing out of production of it as the demand goes down. The 450NX is taking the place for many new server designs out there and it uses 50ns edo dimms usually buffered so you can put up to 32Gigs of memory in these boxes. So even Intel here elected to use not obsolete but technology that I would have thought would be considered obsolete for new systems, but whalla here EDO is still being used and this particular module is at a premium right now and its in a ramp up by suppliers to support new machines
that will use the 450NX.
Good trading.
