no one can predict 100%; now if one reviewed the postings did last 3-4 weeks; what was said was that asia and europe was soft, competition is heatingup and CSCO can go down 35% in bad mkt; it did that and if one did move to SPY will save them a ton of money at the time posted. Imagine getting out at 66 and getting back in at 44.

As for the buying in price, typical buy in will not be one shot deal but can be in at 1/4 at 4 times; so one way to get in is if one is going to buy 400 shares for example, buy 100 at 57, then 100 at 53, and 100 at 48 and 100 at 44; the avearge going in price is around 50. And if one wants to make near term profit of 10% and reduce 10% downside risk then sell nov 50 calls at around 5.5$ now.
