Hi wayne. I use AD and RBC! As someone stated earlier. AD is quite good, however I had one problem with them. Execution time!! Royal has stated categorically that they "promise no performance levels" ! Using that statement got them out of alot of problems until I figured out that they do support fair and equal treatment! So I decided to give them two trade examples

A) Placing a buy for 1000 shares of stock xyz @ $4.00
B) Placing a buy for 100,000 shares of xyz @ $4.00

In every case (A) execution time was 3-4 times faster than (B)!!

When you place an order of >$40,000 the trader must get "approval" from somebody that has a "higher" limit than he does. So in case B he repeats back the order, to confirm he has it right, gets that confirmation from you, then puts you on hold for about 20-40 seconds while he gets approval, then for "the record" he repeats the whole order back to you again and then executes it!

In case A, he repeats the order and executes it!!

To alleviate this problem, apparently NetAction funnels the high $$$ transactions to the "approver" so that the trade executes quicker!! We shall see!!

NetAction has a significant advantage in that your confirmation of receipt of order is instantaneous, and you can trade all of the US and Can exchanges. Combine this with Market depth (SW) and you can see your order go thru!!
