Hi Pat! Too many Martini's "These men are full of new wine" said mockers hearing Peter on the day of Pentecost. What did I say to make you think so, Pat?

1. That this year's balance of payments deficit nears $300 Billion?

2. That Japan is our biggest creditor?

3. That this threatens America's economy?

4. That hedge funds, particularly Long Term Capital Fund are extreme gambles? Could wreck the international economy, threaten the world's banking system? [See Yahoo! News 10/2]

5. That LT Cap Fund made 1.25 in bad gambles?

6. That internationalism threatens US sovereignty and the US taxpayer is the universal bailer-out? (implied)

I doubt any of the above elicited your rejoinder. My take is that you, as many, consider weird anyone convinced that 2,000 year old Bible prophecies are certain of fulfillment, perhaps in our immediate future. This attitude comes under the heading of anti-supernaturalism.

If I'm wrong and you accept Bible prophecy, do you personally know enough Bible to refute me? Meanwhile I'm complimented that you should speak of me as they did of the apostles at Acts 2:13: Full of new wine!

What lies ahead: See Daniel 2:44 and Isaiah 24:1-4. The new world ahead isn't a human political structure; it's the New Earth of Isaiah 65:17 and 2 Peter 3:13.

I hope to see you there, Pat!

Don Martini
