Gentlemen,

FN just bought $C50 million worth of INCO's VBN(?) shares, which was ~ 25% for investment purposes. Inco has been hammered recently, yet the Voissey"s Bay property apparently is a mother lode of nickel. It gives them a net profit interest of 25% in the current VB reserves and 6% in any future discoveries there. I got the impression from the news release that FN might be the owner of more VBN shares than INCO before it's all over.INCO value is down, yet FN waited long enough to do this deal that the delineation of reserves has moved much further along than when INCO was flying a short while back. Less risk, more profit potential. Pierre Lassonde rides again.
