Barbara I generally agree, shorting is a necessary part of the checks and balances of what must be an emotionless, amoral market system---I just wish that people who choose to short ABTX do so without making the charge that they are merely a seed distributor and thus a fraud--Dr.Thomas named this company AgriBioTech when it WAS ONLY an idea in his head---3 years ago they had a grand total of 4million revenue---they are now a near 500million revenue and in the past year
have major advances in BioTech allignments--and have increased quite significantly there in house R&D---there deals with the likes of Mycogen are exclusive and AgriBioTech provides the germplasm and all
the field testing(field testing be an essential part of BioTech research)----I just ask people who short this stock do so on the basis
that they are betting they will not succeed in the rough and tumble capitalist world---and avoid inaccurate charges of fraud etc.
Auric Goldfinger, who himself made a major killing shorting ABTX
at 28&1/2,has stated that he has met Dr.Johnny Thomas, and considers him to be an honest and good man---he shorted ABTX because he believed the price of the stock had gotten way ahead of itself--and balance sheet analysis----good Luck.Max90
