Project Manager
Winspear Resources Ltd., a diamond exploration Company whose efforts at this time are focused in the NWT, is actively seeking a Project Manager. This individual will oversee and coordinate all aspects of permitting, feasibility studies, development, and operation of advanced projects for the company including the Snap Lake project in which Winspear has the majority interest and is Operator. The Project Manager will be responsible for assembling and overseeing a highly motivated and qualified team of professionals capable of achieving these objectives safely, economically and responsibly.

The successful candidate will have at least 15 years of progressive experience in the mining industry with at least 10 years in an operating environment and a proven track record at a senior or general project management level. Previous experience with feasibility and development stage projects, experience with corporate and project management, demonstrated financial and business management abilities, and northern experience will be essential. Experience with diamonds is preferred.

The position will be based in Vancouver although significant travel can be anticipated periodically. An attractive compensation package will be negotiated that will permit the successful candidate to benefit from Corporate growth.

Hi Les, Thanks for the advice. From my experiences with the market, it is very good advice. I was hesitant to post my name earlier, in order to avoid confusion with another threadster-Chuck. That is the real name I go by, but as there is already a one and only Chuck on board, I assumed Surething.

If my instincts and gut feeling remain as skewed as they have been for the past 18 mos., then WSP should soar. I hope it does for all the people that have stayed with it.

At times this thread gets a little ahead of itself as far as the hype and rah. I would like to see more pro and con arguments, with participants not taking offence to opposite viewpoints.

My argument has always been that the snap lake geology looks great, but management is too greedy. Management has the potential to make or break this project. If this project ever does get off the ground, it will be by the result of overwhelming geology.
