IMF loan? I guess, a good opportunity
to short Russia (it won't help anyway).
I haven't heard about it.
I wonder: is the market telling us that
something's up. Russia is dirt cheap,
it does not matter how you look at
valuations. -Vi

Z Analyzer, I use those sources you use plus
"Russia Today" and I also have a subscription to the "Moscow Times". The IMF is definitely coming back to Russia in October, probably next week. From what I read, the IMF had a good discussion with Russia in Washington last week. Since Russia has backed off of printing rubles, the IMF will most likely have nothing big to complain about. Of course, I do not know with certainty that they will get the loan.
