Hope, it's been my experience that when cuts are made, temps are the first to go.

Claiming you "don't have work" for full-timers, while keeping the temps, absolutely kills morale.

As a result, very few companies will do it, and risk having their best people move to other jobs.

Why would Year 2000 projects be put off till after the problem cripples companies? Doesn't make sense.
