Dear Paul,

Would you mind if I posted your post on the RNTK thread ? They would LOVE to read it ! You are right about being careful about buying the stock. Lots of reasons while it is volatile.

Regards,
Chris

Interesting story from top CEO's on CNBC.

Chevron Chairman and CEO Kenneth Derr sees oil prices in the $15 to $16 a barrel range over the next three to four months. Depending on how soon Asian demand starts to come back, and this winter's weather, he sees prices headed closer to $16 to $18 by the middle of next year. Derr says oil prices below $15 a barrel will force cutbacks in exploration spending. But he expects international exploration and production to continue to be the growth area for companies like Chevron. “It's the engine that's driven earnings growth and a strong stock price,” he said.

I've been into RNTK for over a year. It looks good to me. They just announced a licensing agreement with Texaco, to combine RNTK's process with Texaco's gasification process. The agreement is a huge one for RNTK, yet its price is near its 52 low. The agreement is for converting refinery bottoms, coal gas methane, and other stocks to high grade fuel and other products. Has nothing to do with oil or gas prices. RNTK also has a plant in India, which should be operational before the end of the year. Stock is selling for just over a dollar.
I wouldn't pay much attention to the ARCO rumor. On the RNTK there are rumors galore, almost all unfounded. It is true though that RNTK is in negotiations with several other oil companies, and new agreements may be coming out. : RNTK(at .18cents) Gas to Liquid Patent & Deal w/ Texaco on a search will get you to the thread.

Iran vs, Afghan, still heating up.
