While 10Q's and 10K's will necessarily contain information allowing us to assess the deal terms, other indirect indicators will be apparent when/if Rentech makes an acquisition of a cash-generating enterprise and discloses how much cash or equity they had to part with to do it, as well as any bank line-of-credit they may arrange in the next 1 or 2 months. While this type of news won't specifically disclose the details of Thursday's deal, they will be an indication of Rentech's new purchasing power. Such information could allow the Street to revalue the stock upward, giving us the kind of "pop" we speculated on last Summer, but more slowly.

Bradpalm:

Sensible and thoughtful views, as usual.

A reverse split should (hopefully) not be necessary if there continues to be an unfolding of the information about this agreement and also others that may come. In that case the stock price might move up steadily to meet and beat the requisite $5 for listing.

One concern generated by the withholding of details is that if there are overexpectations, when the details are released there could be an actual drop in share price, even though the deal is excellent. Everything we do know sounds like it's a home run, so I am hoping there is no small print to reduce the apparent perfection.

On the other hand, in the recent market climate an excellent deal wouldn't have been fully appreciated, so we may be better off that the details are delayed. It would be nice if they are released when there's a bull market psychology again. In times like that, there'd be more likely to be the run up that is justified by the value of the agreement.

Correction: Someone has let me know that RNTK only needs to trade above $1 to retain listing, not $5. If so, and if the news continues that shouldn't be a problem. Do you know which is the case? I haven't kept up with the thread, since it's so active.

Bradpalm1,

I for one don't understand why this PR did not appear on the
TX website, nor anywhere else for that matter. Can anyone explain
this?

Bob
