OT**************************************************************** Micheal heres the problem. Shane Spencers horse is dead! Petite had nothing and should have been pulled in 2nd. I also think that Rains should start over Davis. all year the yankees played speed and smarts. I think Daryl, and Chad's absence are hurting their technigue. Chilli is way to slow, and so is spenser. If you remember Daryl had 24 HR IN 280 ab thats like hitting 50 all year. He is their big weapon againsy righties, and a threat in the line up. He is also a base stealing threat. The whole team chemistry is screwed up. I think Joe Torre needs to drop tino down and put Brosius in the 2 spot, Jeter 3 oneil 4 wieliems 5th, posada 6th tino 7th,chad 8th and rains 9th. He needs to bunch up the guys who are hitting. Tino is not a clutch guy, he never has been. This is an example where I wished the Yankees had gotten Mike Stanley instead of Chilli Davis. There is no one to replace Tino. If Stanley(great clutch hitter, and great vs lefties) was here you could bench him. Frankly he deserves to be benched. I have no faith, I think Orlando will do great and so will wells, but without being able to hit these 2nd rate starters, and having no offence whatssoever and having to pitch pettite in game seven it looks bleak. I am not second guessing either, I knew they would have trouble with Cleavland. I also have said that Pettite should not be in the rotation. I wish we had traded him for Johnson. He absolutly sucks.
