j g, I've never liked the Independent Counsel law and hope it finally dies next year when it comes up for renewal. My complaint is that it was never favored by Republicans. It was used extensively against Republicans and the Democrats kept renewing the law. Now that Democrats have actually had to deal with the OIC used against one of their own, they're no longer in love with it and want to chastise the Republicans for using it. It's a law that should have never been written, imo!!!
