Marginmike,

First, I do own VLSI but that has nothing to do with my posts here today. I clearly stated that my reason for posting here was to respond to two posts: one about the possibility of QCOM winning business from ERICY or MOT and the second about Mr. Nordstrom's article concerning transmission of data over cellular networks. This is not hyping VLSI. It is an examination of competition that might affect QCOM.

Second, I have never in my life been accused of hyping a stock, nor do I condone hyping, nor do I think anything in my posts even hints on hype. I generally refrain from discussing stock A on the thread of stock B because it never fails, somebody like yourself who wants to stick their head in the sand and ignore what is happening in the marketplace interprets a discussion about competition as hype.

The following statements in your post are opinion and fall into the unsubstantiated negative hype category. While I disagree with them, they are specific to VLSI and this is not an appropriate place to discuss them. I will say that I find it rather hypocritical of you to negative hype VLSI in the same post where you falsely accused me of hyping the same stock.

<Vlsi ASICS's are not as advanced.>

<VLSI management is a bad joke.>

<The stock price is down because nobody know,s if they will survive.>

The following statement has me puzzled.

<There is more demand then capacity for Asic's and CDMA.>

If this is so, then why are sales at suppliers of these chips down? Why are their stocks getting hammered?

Why would VLSI sell cheaply, when they can match the price and sell the same amount of ASIC's.

I already answered this; to build market share. If you don't believe that this is true, I invite you to call VLSI IR. I already did so and know it to be a fact.

The following statement is a personal slam and falls into the unprofessional category.

<If you buy VLSI you need to examine the inside of your head.>

In summary, I didn't attack anybody here. I simply presented information about the possibility of QCOM winning new business from MOT and ERICY, and new products that appear to be superior to those presented in Michael Piturro's post number 16260. You can interpret this as hype if you want but by doing so you are ignoring events that might affect your investment in QCOM.

Have a good one.

Dan
