Who me?

Nixon was the guy who created the OIC law (not
intentionally, of course). Before the OIC law
exsisted, it was thought that any trial of a
president would take place in the Senate, after
the House of Reps voted for impeachment. No
doubt, the Founding Fathers felt that this threat
was good enough to ensure compliance with the
law. I guess they thought that politicians were
good investigators but after watching the House
hearings on fundraising, I can only surmise that
it really takes a professional investigator to
do the job as opposed to someone like Tommy Thompson.
The only people who don't like the OIC laws are
those that have been hit by them because these
guys tend to be good.
