So Bob got heated, just as some of you get heated about the Liberal Conspiracy, etc., etc.

In following this thread, I have seen plenty of paranoia, on both sides..

Perhaps I should point out that there are actually a lot more than two sides here. Let us not assume our dialogue is really a War to the Death between the Forces of Light and the Forces of Darkness...

Sure, Dwight. Personally, I have great admiration for Christ's teachings. Somehow, the inerrant Bible crowd seems to make some bad choices as to which verses are significant and which need to be ignored or explained away.

Is it tolerant to be intolerant of intolerance? Is it intolerant to be tolerant of intolerance? I'll leave out the other 6 variations, but somehow I don't think the political televangelist crowd has any demonstrably unique and superior grasp on Christ's teachings. You are free to differ.
