jbe,

Is it just me? Am I the only one who read the
Starr Report?

In the introduction, Ken Starr clearly states
that the investigation into the personal sexual
life of the president began when Linda Tripp came
to the Office of Independent Council and said that
Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky were about to
lie under oath, suborn perjury, make false state-
ments under oath, and were attempting to tamper
with a potential witness.

Also remember, Ken Starr clearly states in the
report that everyone is entitled to a private
sexual life. However, if you cross the bar and
commit criminal felony acts relating to the sexual
activity, you have lost your right to privacy.

If the same reasoning that everyone is applying
here applied to criminal law in general, it would
be illegal to question rapists about their sexual
activity. It would be illegal to question child
molesters about their sexual activity. Rapists,
Child Pornographers, people with HIV that go around
infecting other people intentionally, etc have all
lost their right to privacy regarding sexual activity
because the crossed the bar into illegal behavior.

Doesn't anyone else get it?
