you may have missed the point. I do have specific problems with NFS3 (it worked for a while but now it locks up immediately after the opening movie) but my concern is not with Banshee but with Quantum3d's lack of online support, drivers and info in general and my perception of their ability to provide it.

The strange thing with NFS3 is I did some modifications I found in some news groups to the NFS3 3ddata file and it started working nicely in d3d mode. Then it crashed, I rebooted and it never worked again. I'm wondering if it heated up and died! Q2 works fine though.

Looks like wicked is saying 3dfx is not offering TV-out:

This isn't to say that Tony T. is not telling the truth about the TV-out thing. There is the possibility that all there is a limited supply of TV-out units and 3dfx is using them for the OEMs.
