Funny how someone on this thread Thursday got so wrapped up in the decline he said, Dow 1,000 is coming and we won't see 10,000 for 20 years.

It was MMV who made that comment. Speaking for myself, I can stomach Dow reaching 5,000 and taking say, the next 7 years to climb back to 10,000. But Dow 1,000 and no Dow 10,000 for another 20 years is something that really makes me {{{shiver}}} :-)

Dipy.

I suggest you re-read that note. I never said 1,000 is coming. I said if the LTCM type of leverage is so prevalent, I said 1000 is a possibility. Yes, I still believe we won't see 10k in 20 years. But, unlike Brinker, not only I know my limitations, but I acknowledge them whole heartedly.
