I don't believe traders thought that( Gspam lowering 1%), But I certainly don't.

IMHO, Al still thinks this market is still overvalued. He could have lowered more than .25 last time but he didn't. I think he is more scared now that EVERYTHING could unravel and the chance of a deep depression is more likely than any time in the last 50 years. That could move him but I think he wants the DOW down to 5000-6000 to be fairly valued.

Check what the NYT write on Sunday. I was just reading Soros and he thinks it had a very big influence in 87. The Sunday edition before Black Monday that is.
