In respect to block trades, it seems to me that if there has been recent insider buying at a price close to the current price, this has to be virtual certain evidence that we can expect positive movement of stock price, at least quite soon if not immediately. Granted insider reports are often a bit tardy, but considerable buying in the last 1 - 2 months should be a good indicator.

I have been doing a bit of tracking in this regard with US stocks & feel I have confirmed this but of course with insider trading there are many other factors to consider which influence their effect on stock price movement.

Don't want to change the subject here to insider trading but think that insider trading & block trading are often interrelated.
