I was just looking through some old posts trying to remember who the short-term trader was that bought THQI looking for a half point and got caught in the six-point drop the next day when we lost the WCW license when I came across Vic's "CONTROVERSIAL" post. The funny thing is that even without keeping WCW and doing a secondary, THQI came within $2 of his target by Q2 earnings. And that was with Quest reviews being less than anticipated.

Anyway,

>> AKLM is probably having a very good quarter too. <<

This quarter will also give AKLM a long missing p/e. I estimated it to be low 20s. AKLM is now my next favorite game stock after THQI.

Three problems though,
- A significant portion of the earning is coming from Warzone, not as bad as THQI's 88% but still a big question-mark.
- ERTS is going after N64. Acclaim Sports will inevitably fight with EA Sports for market share.
- Although it is much improved, AKLM requires high revenue in order to be profitable.
