Mark,

Thanks for your post. I write naked puts on ASND month after month. These have worked well so far. I once tried to day trade ASND, but other stocks work better, for me, for that function (CSCO, DELL, INTC, daily dumpers).

Funny thing is, I'm now likely to do what is called a 475(f) election and treat my day trading as a business. That turns all stock gains into ordinary income and treats stock as inventory, but it eliminates the wash rule (which is what unfortunately got me out of ASND for a nice leg-up last Spring).

I'm anxious to see what develops with Lucent-unleashed. Whatever happens, it should be interesting.

Best regards,
Gary Korn

Mark,

OT
re: ISP's & Access numbers

I've been using a new ISP that I've been very pleased with. WebAmerica (WANS.net). I have only one access number I dial from most anywhere in the US. It's a digital line (I think) using 1010......etc. Usually connect 50k plus. Service is only $9.99/mo for unlimited access. Sometimes in the evening I get a busy signal but usually connect by the third auto redial. No problem so far. PM me if you want more info.

Gary

S&P globex up 7.5 now and Asian market up big
today.(HK up 7.6 %,Japan up 5.5 % now )
Look for Friday 's rally to extend this week with S&P possibly going to 1075 by this Friday if earning from Compaq and Intel
are good.
ASND could very well open at 44 tomorrow and run up to 47
by Friday.
Good luck all,long and shorts.
