That [usually close] is what I was trying to say, Dale.
Probably don't have to start at the precise swing high or low to come close, but, for example, the acceleration factor may have changed before the 100-day tracking time. Probably ok once it generates a signal and swings the other way -- didn't see that checked in Jeff's but doesn't mean it wasn't.

Note also that Jeff is checking for violation of high and low; Wilder may give signals there rather than on the close.
