I certainly do not say CSCO is a value stock as defined by Graham and Dodd, however, as a growth stock it traded at reasonable valuations at least every two years, so far. Last time was in March - May 1997. Even better time was in May - Aug 1994. See my post about that time above. I think for the people in the know (other people did not know much about CSCO then), 1990 to first half 1993 valuations were very reasonable.

Also, there is a big difference between holding (not selling) stock bot long ago, and buying a new position, or adding.

When price hits lower band, it can be time to buy (but not that the band will move as time goes on)
