Yogov,

I can't speak to Parity specifically (where for art thou, bdog), but the reversal ranges are set and interpreted a couple ways.

A) A 0 crossover means the TSF (or any indicator) has changed direction completely (as in headed up from down or visa versa.)

B) If you set a % range above and below the 0 you gauge a change in the impulse speed of the indicator. If the indicator uses a simple integer scale like a Stochastic you can look for 'hitches' w/in a flatness range like +/-5 for example using a $ instead of a % differential method (at least in MSWIN). Your range designation would reference the ROC indicator crossing these preset horizontal boundary levels.

C) Another completely indiscriminating rate of change diff. function apart from the ROC would be something like valday1-valday2 > valday2-valday3 for either declining or rising indicators; suggesting a deceleration of downtrend or an acceleration of uptrend.

Nice to from hear you.

To All--After every Doug R workshop, there is a period of time that the new enlistees talk this strange coded language from the new inventions gnerated at the workshop. Sometimes they begin to translate when old-timers like me start acting confused. I think we are about ready for some definitions again. confusinov, Myron
