Qwest Announces $65 Million Contract With Big Planet For Communications Services; Qwest Services Sold Through Big Planet's InterNetworking Distribution Channel Business Wire - October 12, 1998 07:16 Business Editors DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 12, 1998--Qwest (NASDAQ:QWST) today announced it has signed a four-year, $65 million contract with Big Planet to provide both commercial and consumer communications services including high-speed connectivity to the Qwest network and long distance service. Qwest's commercial and consumer services will be offered via Big Planet's InterNetworking distribution channel -- an internet centric and person-to-person marketing force.
