Alan, *OT*
<<no need to be so abrasive!! >>

I suspect you should not be surprised at the mild rebuke you received. To explain this further I follow VECO. I do not follow the stock you mentioned. Not that it is a bad stock it just isn't one I follow. So if I see that there is a new post on the VECO thread I click it and wait out the download time expecting to read about VECO. When it is a hype on an unrelated issue it is a minor irritation. Many on these threads regard it as bad "netiquette" to hype other stocks on threads intended for a specific topic. While I appreciate that you may think you were sincere in calling attention to an investment opportunity this may be best done in passing while discussing something germaine to the topic listed, or in private message. In any case I felt Carl's comments were not so abrasive and that the rebuke was well aimed. Just my 2 cents.<G>

best,
Stitch

My intent was not to be abrasive, but if you view the last 10-20 comments on this thread you will find little mention of VECO, and the subject of sticking to VECO had just been mentioned. I don't object to comments that mention the subject of a thread and add comments concerning some other topic, but I get tired of going to a book-marked thread only to find some other topic under discussion that I have no interest in, and you hit a particular sore point as I had just waded through hype regarding RMBS on another (non-RMBS) thread.

Good luck,

Carl
