Ive written many times to SI regarding the unavailability of the Service. Their previous response was "were a free service" - well now they charge for membership and i assume charge advertisers for all the slow web banners we have to sit thru. Every time their service is unavailable thier users are checking out the Yahoo boards - chat and discussion boards are becoming somewhat of a commodity with almost every popular site offering one. silicon investor was an interesting home brew but they need to get serious about their business. The acquisition of the company by Go2net may help.
