Teddy pay attention...A high fixed asset company who takes on debt increases the variance in net income to that company. This means during good times the company will do most excellent and during economic downturns the company will perform the opposite. The debt/cap on RIG is 30% compared with NE at 10 % and HAL at 16% to show small and large capitalization companies. Your most excellent complicated model has some basic flaws in it.

1. You seem to think that the economic situation is in a downturn
which would go counter to the financials of the company.

2. I don't believe you have sufficiently considered the
supply/demand curve in projecting out 6 months

The above applies to cyclical firms and the calculations can be found in any basic corporate finance book.. You might want to rethink your modeling approach before applying it. If you need some help with the calculations of your model e-mail me private and I'll see what I can do.

I must comment on RIG since it is at the top of my buy list for tomorrow. I believe it is time now to get back into the sector, and RIG appears to be the strongest in many areas.
#1) Their stock price has held up among the best in the last few months (assumes "the market" knows which stock is the best) osxstocks.com
#2) They have the best earnings growth numbers of all the drillers osxstocks.com
#3) Their earnings estimates have held up the best in the drilling subsector, and among the best in the whole sector osxstocks.com
#4) Their gross margins continue to improve osxstocks.com
#5) The daily stochastics trading system suggests the short term downcycle is over, and it is time for a rally in the sector osxstocks.com

For similar reasons, I'm also looking at CXIPY, FGII, ATW, DO, and EVI. VRC and GLBL also look good, but I'm concerned that they are suffering with new lows.
