Agreed but the picture also shows an extreme of new low activity that barring an economic disaster in the US cannot be sustained. For the first time in years there are companies whose growth rates are double digit and pes are single digit even though interest rates are much lower than the last time some of these valuations with respect to earnings were there for the picking. Personally for these reasons I'm expecting a powerful sustained upmove to start some time in the next several weeks. Also if people thinking the markets really going down another 10 percent they are already in cash.
