Hey Joseph,

no I'm not a newcomer. I've been on these threads since Feb '96 and I see you've been around since Aug of '96. I am probably newer to Cisco than you though, because I bought a my first shares after it crashed in March/April '97.

Strange that we both have different figures and they are both from verifiable sources. Do you have your annual report? That's where I got most of my data. The annual report has split adjusted data. I think I trust it over your S&P report, since the annual report has the same numbers that were reported to the SEC in their 10K.

Anyway, I guess everyone should use whatever numbers they feel comfortable with and that will determine whether you make money or not.
