mike, one caveat i'd add to your statement that the lower the stock market goes the more bullish one should become - "all else being equal." i'm not so sure that the amount of negative news isn't pouring in faster than the dow (everything else is bottom fishing with the tidy bowl man - except mu... blah, blah, blah). if true, then dow 7800 may be more bearish than dow 9300.

kind of wreaks of momo, too, so maybe i'm just talking hypothetical... ;-)
