Bezos Interview....

Check out Page 4 of Sunday NY Times business section. There is a brief interview with Bezos (I already chekced website, there is no link to this article, you have to buy the paper).

Bezos spins recent events, shrugging off CDNow/N2K merger. That's to be expected. But what is REALLY interesting is that Bezos implies he does not spend any money on advertising, that AMZN has grown strictly by word of mouth. I almost fell out of my chair. I expect him to spin, but I don't expect him to lie.

Amazon gets only 4.3% despite having an ad on the site to influence voters.
