"Barbara, how is your assessment of the market trend?" I have requested that SI change my nickname to Mama Bear. <g> Right now I see the market trend as short term up, mid term down, long term up. I won't take any long positions home in my trading account. Please remember that I am just compiling a watch list for buying of overdone taxloss selling. I may or may not trade stocks on this list at the end of the year. PSFT and CIEN are not buys at this time for more than a daytrade IMO. Of course this year we may be able to throw a dart and find a stock that is a candidate for tax loss selling. Barb
